Abstract
Some modification studies were carried out on the properties of Polystyrene (PS) and Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). The results of mechanical test on the PS/PMMA blend showed a varying suitability in terms of end-use applications. However, PS/PMMA blend composition of 20%/80% at lower pressures had the best mechanical property with a tensile strength of 5.0 x 106 N/m2 and modulus of elasticity of 11.65 GN/m2.
